The Max Seed Company offers 33 varieties of organic vegetables, herbs and flowers for the 2008
growing season.
The Max Seed Farm, located in Shelton, Washington, has been growing cut flowers for farmers market outlets, weddings, and large events for over four years. Max Seed is certified by Oregon Tilth as an Organic Handler. For the 2008 season, Max Seed offers certified Organic seeds grown by other certified growers. We anticipate for the 2009 season the Max Seed Farm will be the source for a portion of the Organic seeds offered.
The Max Seed Company founder, Andrea Fontenot, has combined two passions - sustainable agriculture and sustainable companion animal populations - in the form of this company. She has built a flower farm and is active in local dog and cat rescue and adoption programs.
Through the Max Seed Company, we will contribute to a sustainable food system and address the unnecessary annual destruction of over three million companion animals in the United States.
